So excited to have found this!
I’m a Mennonite. I’m a feminist.
I thought I might be the only one.
Awesome! I’m so glad you stopped by and I’m glad to know of another Mennonite feminist as well. Let’s stay in conversation!
I also am glad to find this blog. Much of what you write really hits home with my experience as a Anabaptist/Mennonite woman. Please keep up the blog (since I only found this about a week ago – lol) Once again thanks!
Hannah, I’m so glad to find this blog! As a fellow Mennonite feminist (and curious human being), I look forward to reading more of your insights. Thanks for lending your voice to the chorus of conscientious young Mennonites seeking social justice! It’s a great read.
Thanks, Patrick. Glad to “meet” you in this space.
Hi there.
I stumbled across your blog looking for a name for a housing program we just opened in Vancouver, BC, Canada’s Downtown Eastside neighbourhood. It is an unlikely partnership between Atira Women’s Resource Society, a feminist-identified women’s anti-violence organization, and the Vancouver Chinese Mennonite Church. I hope to find a name that honours both the work we do at Atira and the Mennonite church and therefore our partnership. I am grateful to have found your blog, which I now check out every week or so, but am no closer to finding a spectacular name. I am writing today in the hope you can help with ideas, suggestions or places I can do some further research. Thank you.
